This policy explains what personal information www.plrichard.com collects, why, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

Information collected
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, which you provide voluntarily to receive a reply.
- Cookieless audience measurement (Vercel Web Analytics), only if you click “Accept”: pages viewed, referring page, country, device and browser type. No cookie is set; your IP address is only used to count visits (a hashed fingerprint renewed daily) and is not stored.
- Google Analytics, only if you click “Accept”: pages viewed, visit duration, referrer, device and a random identifier stored in a cookie.
- Bot protection (Google reCAPTCHA): technical information about your browser and interactions, sent to Google to check that the form is used by a person; loaded only when you start filling in the form.
- Host technical logs (Vercel): IP address, date and requested page, for security and proper operation of the site.
Why this information is used
- To answer your requests and follow up on a potential project.
- To understand how the site is used in order to improve it (aggregate statistics, never profiling or targeted advertising).
- To protect the form against bots and keep the site secure.
Cookies and local storage
Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics depend on your consent: nothing is measured before “Accept”. You can withdraw it at any time by clearing this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Sharing with third parties and outside Québec
Your information is never sold or rented. It is only shared with the following providers, who process it on my behalf or to provide their service, and who may store it outside Québec (notably in the United States):
- Vercel Inc. (site hosting and cookieless audience measurement) — United States.
- Resend (delivery of contact form messages by email) — United States.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics after consent, reCAPTCHA) — United States.
Retention
Messages received through the contact form are kept as long as needed to answer them and follow up on the relationship, then deleted. Google Analytics data is kept according to the service’s settings; Vercel Web Analytics data is aggregated and cannot identify you.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal information, its correction or deletion, or withdraw your consent by writing to info@plrichard.com. You will receive a reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with the reply, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (www.cai.gouv.qc.ca).
